A report released by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Vote Solar have recently released a report to identify the top commercial solar customers in the US. The report identified the top 20 corporate solar consumers which have generated around $47.3 million worth of electricity annually. Top companies that were identified to make large contributions to solar power including Walmart, Costco, Ikea and Johnson & Johnson.
With over 1.2 million solar pv panels installed, the solar power generated by the top 20 companies were determined to be enough to power over 46500 average homes in America. Solar is becoming a fast growing industry in the US market with over 100,000 Americans working in the solar energy industry.
