The Renewable Energy Map by the Clean Energy Council as of August 2012 has outlined the different solar photovoltaic plants in Australia above 100kW. The solar power plants are spread out across the states in Australia include, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
These operational solar power plants range from a capacity of 0.11MW to 10MW, and the largest solar photovoltaic plant currently under construction in Geraldton, WA. The 10MW solar power plant was commissioned in August 2012 and will be owned by Verve Energy and GE Energy.
The map also provides information on other renewable energy power plants over 100kW including two solar thermal plants in New South Wales, wind power plants, hydro, and many more.
