There seems to be a general consensus across states of Australia regarding the concern of growing electricity prices, as seen in South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales.
The rise in electricity prices have become the number 1 concern by 30 percent of individuals in Queensland, and 34 percent of individuals in New South Wales.
According to the predictions from AEMC, most Australian state and territories will expect a rise in residential electricity prices by 20-40% between 2009/2010 to 2012/2013.
With such a significant rise in these prices, switching to solar power seems to be the most logical. Especially with the government rebates setting to decrease once again by mid-year this year, Australians should definitely take advantage of these savings and get on to solar before it is too late!
