The Tasmanian government’s department of Infrastructure Energy and Resource has recently announced a second round of funding for renewable energy projects in King and Flinders Islands.
The guidelines for round 2 of funding have been published with the main objectives being to deliver and encourage renewable energy innovations. Other objectives included the reduction of transport energy costs and reliance of diesel fuels.
Eligible projects must meet the main objective of delivering renewable energy innovations and may be funded up to $400,000. Interested applicants are required to submit their request by Friday 29 March 2013.
