The Bosch Compress 3000 air-to-water heat pump represents the very pinnacle of energy efficient water heating innovation.
The heat pump is essentially a refrigerator in reverse. A refrigerator creates and distributes cool air, while expelling the waste heat into the atmosphere.
A heat pump works in the opposite manner, by creating and distributing heat into the stored water and expelling cooled air into the atmosphere around it.
Using 65% less energy than conventional electric storage hot water systems, the Compress 3000 is a highly efficient device that transfers excess solar energy into thermal energy in the form of hot water.
As the heat pump only requires 0.6 kW of input compared to a conventional system that requires 3.6 kW, the energy requirements can be more than covered by a domestic solar system. So the money you’ll save on energy bills makes the Compress 3000 a great long-term investment.
Features & benefits:

We paid a visit to the lovely Sylvia whose Hot Water System stopped working.
She was in a panic without Hot Water. It was great to assist her with this dilemma.

Note: Heat pumps use the ambient temperature in surrounding air to heat water in the tank. This means as the air temperature around the tank decreases, the time taken to heat the full tank increases. Customers in colder climates
and frost prone areas should consider this when deciding which type of Bosch system is best for their circumstances.
*When compared to conventional electric storage system.
Currently, this system is only available to be installed by True Value Solar in Victoria only.
